DDG wants another baby with Halle Bailey — despite their recent breakup.
While speaking to his YouTube subscribers Monday about potentially giving his 10-month-old son, Halo, a sibling, the rapper clarified that he does not plan “to have baby mamas or whatever y’all like to call it.”
He explained, “If I was to have another kid, it definitely would be with the same person. I don’t want to have kids with multiple people. I feel like that’s just too much.”
The 27-year-old noted that he doesn’t “want to have another kid too far away” and will be “cool with just having Halo” if he does not “have another kid within the next four years.”
DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., added, “I don’t want Halo to be 10 and his little brother is 1, you feel me? I feel like that defeats the entire purpose of having another kid.
“I’m perfectly fine with Halo,” he continued, “I can live the rest of my life with just Halo as my son. I don’t need to have another kid, but I wouldn’t mind having like a daughter or something. I think that would just be dope.”
DDG became a dad in December 2023 when Bailey, 24, gave birth to their baby boy.
By October of the following year, the couple had called it quits and were co-parenting the little one.
“After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the YouTuber wrote in an Instagram statement last month. “This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for us both. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”
He concluded, “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.”
When asked Monday whether he has “moved on” and is “ready to date again,” DDG insisted he is “just really focused on work.”
He warned fans, “Don’t ship me with nobody because I don’t plan on dating. I don’t see the point anymore.”
DDG and the “Little Mermaid” star were first romantically linked in January 2022.
Shortly after their split, the former couple made headlines as they butted heads over DDG including Halo on a Twitch livestream last week.
“i wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people,” Bailey wrote in a since-deleted X post on Nov. 6. “i am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”
However, the Chloe x Halle member wrote the following day that she “maybe … overreacted.”
